What is a Calling Card?
The 1300 Woolies Calling Card is a Pre-Paid card which can be used to make Local, National, International and Mobile calls from anywhere within Australia.

Card Use
Q: How do I actually use the cards?
A: First you dial the access number 1300woolies (1300 966 5437) local call fee applies. After dialing this number please either press '1' to make a call or '2' to be put through to custmer service. You will then be asked for your PIN number (may also be refered to as aurthorisation code) which you key in on your phone's keypad. At this point the prompt will inform you of your remaining balance and ask you to dial the number you want to call just as you would any on any phone. ie: Interstate Calls: Area code + Phone Number International Calls: International Code (0011) + Country Code + City Code + Phone Number.

Can I make more than I call without calling 1300woolies again?
A: Yes, you can make up to 4 calls without hanging up. Simply press # # (Double hash) instead of hanging up once your call has ended and you will be taken back and be able to enter another number.

Other Costs
Q: What other cost should I be aware of?
A: The 1300 Woolies calling cards have no hidden fees and the same rates 24 hours/day. Some cards charge a connection fee and may also have an additional surcharge for calling mobile phones in overseas countries. Some other cards have a verification, maintenance fee other cards announce off-peak rates.

Calling other countries
Q: Can I call more than one country?
A: Yes, you can phone as many as your card's credit limit will allow you to phone.

Calling destination
Q: Can I call from other countries?
A: No. The 1300 Woolies calling card can only be used from with in Australia.

What phones can I use the card from
Q: Will the card work from any touch tone phone from home, hotel etc?
A: As a rule you may use from almost any touch tone phone. There are no guarantees. Some hotels may place a surcharge on free phone access. Although this is rare some hotels may bar the access number.

Rate Changes
Q: Might the rates change during the use of my card?
A: Most service providers of phone cards reserve the right to change their rates without prior notice, however these rates changes are not frequent and are usually the benefit of the end user.

Card Expiry
Q: Do these cards expire?
A: Yes. The 1300 Woolies calling card expire 12 months from date of purchase. This information is provided on the voucher you received at point of sale.

Problems with the card
Q: Who do I speak to if I experience a problem with my card?
A: Whilst the vast majority of calls are made with ease and without problems, occasionally you may experience a problem with your card to a particular location. You can call our Customer Care department (9am - 6pm AEST Monday to Friday) who can take a look at your specific problem. Please always have your pin number ready and call 1300 966 5437.
